We’re always looking for that next great read and we’d love to know what books y’all read over the weekend!

Here’s what’s on our night stands (and keeping us up way past our bedtimes) at the Book Hookup:

Celeste is reading yet another dystopian novel (I’m addicted!): Delirium by Lauren Oliver. The story started off a little slow and young the first quarter of the book but then it got good. Lena lives in a society where the government controls everything and at age 18 everyone gets cured for deliria (love). Weeks before her procedure she meets Alex and falls in love and begins to question everything.

Amy is reading For Love Of An Angel by Rosalie Lario. In a world where angels rule over humans, twelve fallen angel outcasts dare to defy expectation, warring with their angel brethren to prevent the extinction of humankind…. For the Fallen to preserve their immortality and strength, they must find a mate with angel blood. The premise lured me in and after just a couple pages, I was completely hooked. These fallen angels are hot, hot, HOT!

Ana:  Due to technical difficulties (namely taking some vacation and then being sick) I have done very little reading this week which is causing me great stress.  As I am typing this on Sunday, please note that I plan to spend the rest of the day reading Wicked by Addison Moore….Skyla, Logan and Gage have been patiently waiting for me and I know they won’t disappoint!!

Tamie: I reread the  Fifty Series…yes again. I will fully admit to being addicted to the series. E L James seriously owns me. I don’t know what I’ll do when this series is over. Looking forward to the next book with great anticipation.

Jag: I finally got my ass pwned this weekend and it was from what I would have really considered an unlikely source…Vampire Academy!  I mean really Vampire Academy, sounds like some serious cheese lol. I’ve had some readers block lately when Divergent author Veronica Roth tweeted a list of recs, and low and behold VA was on it.  The first three VA books have been on my kindle for ever and I thought what  the hell, I’ll give them a go…took me less than 2 evenings to read it.  Loved! Check out my review later this week.
