Celeste’s Favorite: DEITY (Covenant #3) by Jennifer L. Armentrout!
Oh. My. Gods. I’m addicted to this series because I love Aiden St. Delphi the story read so effortlessly, yet is layered with complexity. To top it off, Deity is full of swoons and mythology. The books ramp up with every installment; from the chemistry between Alex and Aiden, to the fight to keep Alex safe, to the twists and turns…the stress levels are off the charts! All of these things add up to total WIN and my favorite book of the year.

Celeste loved Deity but the giveaway winner can choose any book in this series!

Jag’s Favorite: THE SELECTION (The Selection #1) by Kiera Cass!
I’m a huge fan of dystopian young adult fiction and was completely drawn to the premise of this story. For America Singer, the chance to escape her predestined life is not the opportunity she wants. She is in love with a local boy that her society will forbid her from being with and when she’s thrust into the world of Prince Maxon, she resists at every turn. Her resistance and honesty captivates the Prince and when America realizes she has the chance to make a difference by becoming a part of this new world, she is truly torn. I really loved this book because what could have become a battle of 35 girls fighting to become the Princess to Maxon, was really the story of one girl and her internal struggle to figure out what she wants and where she belongs. I am sooo excited to get my hands on the second book in the series, The Elite in 2013.

Christina’s Favorite: MY LIFE NEXT DOOR by Huntley Fitzpatrick!
I’m a lover of swoon- swoony boys, swoony relationships, and swoony words. This book has them all. Jase Garrett is one of the best book boyfriends… errr, best book male characters I’ve had the great pleasure of reading this year. His family, especially the littlest brother George, are just as lovable and humorous as the swoonerrific male MC. (Seriously, did I mention he was swoony? GAH!) It was a lovely contemporary read about finding first love and learning to grow up– which means handling all the trials and tribulations that come with that, and learning to deal with your mistakes when you choose poorly. I can’t gush enough about this book. Honestly, it’s one of those books I find myself flipping through now and again just so that I can re-read my favorite quotes.

Amy’s Favorite: THE EVOLUTION OF MARA DYER (Mara Dyer #2) by Michelle Hodkin!
It was literally days after finishing TEoMD before I could construct a coherent and semi-intelligent statement about these books! It’s intense, dark, romantic, riveting, completely captivating with a deep and complex plot that twists, turns and evolves all over the place. This is definitely one of those books that will keep you on the edge of your seat up until the very end! The writing is superb, the storyline is completely unique and insanely intriguing and Noah Shaw is a prime example of fictional male character perfection. Michelle Hodkin is pure genius. If you haven’t already read The Unbecoming and Evolution of Mara Dyer (OMG WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!), I highly suggest that you do and you’ll see why I’ve selected this as my #1 pick for this year!

Amy loved The Evolution of Mara Dyer but the giveaway winner can choose any book in this series!

Ana’s Favorite: AWRY (The Archers of Avalon #2) by Chelsea Fine!
This series is wonderful and the characters I fell in love with in Anew are better than ever in Awry. Scarlet is becoming stronger and more focused. Gabriel and Tristan are more heartbreaking and swoonworthy than ever! And the curse (yes…a curse) is evolving…especially for Tristan who suffers more than he should…and, oh, how my poor heart suffers with him! *sigh* This story gave me the history I’ve been waiting for. Finally, I know how Scarlet met the Archer brothers and how she came to be involved with both of them. It is tragically beautiful. This book has adventure, romance and heart-felt emotion. And, without question, it shines! Trust me…you want to read it!!

Ana loved Awry but the giveaway winner can choose any book in this series!

The Litbrarian’s Overall Favorite: THE PREMONITION SERIES by Amy A. Bartol!
It’s not a secret that we love these books. After all we’ve done two podcasts about them and stalk Amy Bartol at every turn. These books have everything a reader could want…adventure, romance, twists and turns and characters that get under your skin and make you love them! This series gets better and better and we here at the Book Hookup would be perfectly happy if Amy continued to tell us about these characters forever!!

We love all these books…the giveaway winner can choose any book in this series!
