From the Publisher: A fallen boxer. A woman with a broken dream. A competition…

He even makes me forget my name. One night was all it took, and I forgot everything and anything except the sexy fighter in the ring who sets my mind ablaze and my body on fire with wanting…

Remington Tate is the strongest, most confusing man I’ve ever met in my life.

He’s the star of the dangerous underground fighting circuit, and I’m drawn to him as I’ve never been drawn to anything in my life. I forget who I am, what I want, with just one look from him. When he’s near, I need to remind myself that I am strong–but he is stronger. And now it’s my job to keep his body working like a perfect machine, his taut muscles primed and ready to break the bones of his next opponents . . .

But the one he’s most threatening to, now, is me.

I want him. I want him without fear. Without reservations.

If only I knew for sure what it is that he wants from me?

**We received copies of this book for the tour, but OMG! we each already had copies so you know we are honest here!**

A big thank you to Katy and Good Choice Reading
for having us on the tour!

First Thoughts:
Celeste: Hot. Damn. I don’t even know the last time I got this jacked up after reading a book.
Amy: *dazed stare*  Good Lord. Remington Tate is one smokin’ hot bad dude. Now that’s what I’m talking about! WHEN DOES THE NEXT BOOK COME OUT?!

The Story, Pacing, Style:
Celeste: So intense and gahhhhh. I’m so worked up! lol. The pacing was insanely perfect if you like to bite your nails and savor every word, and gah, the build up….that was some serious sexual tension!
Amy: After the first couple of paragraphs, I was totally hooked.. The intensity that oozed from every pore of this book was crazy and SO addicting! That first time Remington laid eyes on Brooke.. *bites fist* Seriously, what woman wouldn’t die all over herself? I know I did. The pace is fast! Your heads gonna spin! In a good way! I was like, No. Wait.. OMG.. Hold on, go back.. What?! OMG his eyes and body! GAH! I’m so jealous of Brooke right now, it’s ridiculous! It’s one of the reasons I really loved this book.. the story unfolded with a perfect sense of urgency.. just like Brooke and Remy’s need for each other. Pure awesomeness.

Celeste: Well, Brooke is one lucky lady. She knows what she wants, but never loses herself in the process. I loved and respected her the entire book! I also loved her sense of humor.

“We telepathically communicated, and he says he wants to take me home to be the mother of his sexy babies.”

Amy: Brooke who? Lol.. No I’m kidding. I think her character brilliantly complimented the story. She’s independent and determined and I honestly don’t remember at any point during my reading being annoyed or irritated with her, like I normally am with most lead female protagonists. She made Remy’s character shine. He did the same for her as well.

Remington Tate:
Celeste: What? I need to describe him? I can’t do him any kind of justice. If I had to try I would tell you he is one sexy mofo and the bad things I’d want him to do to me and me to him. Yah, send help. I don’t even know myself anymore. Remy is so masculine, oozing sex. However, he also has such great control, which is one of the main reasons I loved him. While he wants Brooke, he also knows he has to do it the right way, so he knows what they have is the real deal. He loves her and doesn’t play any games.
Amy: Alright. Lemme collect my thoughts and try to construct some coherent sentences about Mr. Tate………. What I was really thinking: OMG I WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANT HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIM NOW! RIGHT NOW! First off, I love his name. Love it. It’s strong and bold, just like his character. Secondly, Remy is a complicated mess of a man. He’s broken. Confusing. Dark. Harsh. Utterly gorgeous and he conveys his feelings through music (which made me love him even more). Sign me up! Seriously.  And the best part about him being all of those things is that he stays true to who he is throughout the book. It makes me crazy when a character goes from one extreme to another because of love. Love changes people, I know that, but Remy remains the same broken man from beginning to end, the only thing changing is the desire to make his girl happy and the courage to finally face his past with her. No sappy stuff here and I LOVED it!

Smexy/Naughty/Cold Shower Level?
Celeste: OFF THE F*CKING CHARTS. Every single page of this novel was oooozing with sexuality that I am pretty sure I could feel. I know exactly what Remington looks like, feels like and for the love of all fantastic pecs in the world, I know what he smells like. Don’t even get me started on all the smelling in this book. Just take my word for it, this book = HOT HOT HOT.
Amy: *laughs at Celeste* I’ve read a lot books.. A LOT.. and there’s only a handful of books that could of seriously spontaneously combusted in my hands just from the chemistry alone between the characters. REAL is definitely now part of that group! Like Celeste said, I know exactly what Remington looks like. The sound of his voice ,his growl…GAH, I sound like a crazy person, and I could feel how strong his desire for Brooke was, even when he hadn’t yet admitted his feelings for her yet, he barely said anything! You just knew! The silent tension between these two is palpable! Every touch, every look, everything they share is overflowing with lust and need. You really have to read the book to understand all the flailing and rambling in this review. You’ll feel the same way once you finish. Trust.

The Cover:
Celeste: *makes out with it* Perfect. I wish there was an insert in the book of just photos. *fantasizes*
Amy: I would of preferred the top button and zipper of his jeans been left open. You know, so we could see his “tattoo” better.. *cough* I agree with Celeste. Perfection.

“I’m so fucking in love with you I don’t even know what to do with myself anymore..”

Any Suggestions?
Celeste: I loved it, but if I had to give a teensy bit of criticism I would want to talk about the overuse of some words. For example, I think clench was one. Everything was clenching. All the time. Don’t get me wrong I was clenching just reading it, but I think it came up so often it lost a little of its affect by the end. There were a few other words and phrases too that would have had a stronger impact if they were used less. However, this did not take away from the book at all and I can’t say how much I loved the story, the characters, and the romance. Loved!
Amy: I loved this book A LOT and certainly could of easily ignored the overuse of certain words but I would rather just be completely honest.. The descriptive words weren’t out of context or anything, and maybe I’m being a bit harsh because they weren’t really inappropriate, I guess it was just the amount of times these words and phrases were used throughout the book. That’s my only critique though.. This book rocked!

Final Thoughts:
Celeste: I have the biggest book hangover ever. This story gave me all the feels. If you want to fall in love and get caught up in a romance that will build you up and then make you lose your breathe, REAL is for you. I swear I was there, right there along side Brooke and Remy. I can’t wait to read more from Ms. Evans, she writes in a way you can get lost in!
Amy: Yes.. This book has lot of intense sexual tension as well as a lot of sexual situations in it, but there are so many feelings and emotions readers will experience as they progress through the heart of the story. I’m tellin’ ya.. if your heart isn’t racing and swelling and breaking all at the same time, you might wanna get it checked out because OMG! This book is fantastic! I’m SO looking forward to reading more of Katy’s work and I’m especially excited for more Remy!
