From the Publisher: With his tight leather pants and a sharp edge that makes him dangerous, Jet Keller is every girl’s rock and roll fantasy. But Ayden Cross is done walking on the wild side with bad boys. She doesn’t want to give in to the heat she sees in Jet’s dark, haunted eyes. She’s afraid of getting burned from the sparks of their spontaneous combustion, even as his touch sets her on fire.

Jet can’t resist the Southern Belle with mile-long legs in cowboy boots who defies his every expectation. Yet the closer he feels to Ayden, the less he seems to know her. While he’s tempted to get under her skin and undo her in every way, he knows firsthand what happens to two people with very different ideas about relationships.

Will the blaze burn into an enduring love. . . or will it consume their dreams and turn them to ashes?

**I received a copy of this book from the publisher,
but that did not influence the review**

First Thoughts: 5 stars! Loved! It took longer for me to fall in love with Jet than Rule, but by the end I was sold, sold, sold. This was a great love story of two people with baggage that seemed to disappear when they were together.

Plot, Pacing and Style: Jet is the smoking hot lead singer of a metal band who turned down the advances of Ayden, a  southern girl with whiskey eyes and mile long legs, because she was too good for him. Neither one has been able to get the other out of their head since.

They finally do give in to their attraction, but feelings surface and run deeper than just being physical and that scares Ayden. They both have pasts that eat them up alive, but when they are together the pain seems to go away. This story is about the two of them learning that being together is better than being alone.

The pacing was great, yes, it had me biting my nails waiting for the HEA, but I knew they couldn’t get from A to B without growing first.

I love first person dual POVs. Sometimes I like being in the dark about what the other character is thinking, but these two had so much stuff going on that it was great to get into their heads.

The MCs: I want to look like Ayden. Yes, shallow, but she was gorgeous. Long legs, dark hair, whiskey eyes. But actually, she was more than that; she had a really rough past and was working on a fresh start. She worked really hard to make something of herself and I respected that so much. What actually sealed the deal for me with Ayden was that she knew she was pretty…really pretty to a lot of guys, but there was only one man she wanted to think that. To me she wasn’t full of herself when Jet looked at her with so much desire. When he found her beautiful, that is what seemed to make her humble to me. I might have the biggest girl crush ever on her.

Jet, he is one fine mofo. The tight colored pants were a little barf, but hey, I could easily rip them off get over that. He was a manwhore and a very, very bad boy.  What made him even hotter? When he realized he loved Ayden and just put it out there. The confidence was just the icing on the cake. I hate games, and he played no games.

Romance /Chemistry: C R A Z Y  S E X Y. You guys. YOU GUYS. I need help. Between Rule and Jet I may or may not be preoccupied with piercings of manbits. WHAT?! Trust me, read it and you will be too.

Title/Cover: The title is perfect because it’s Jet’s story. The cover is just meh again. It wasn’t Jet for me. Maybe that is why it took a while for me to love him as much as I did. Now, I saw a hot photo of John Mayer as Jet and yah, that freaking works. Of course I googled more, and yes. John Mayer is my Jet.

Twists and Turns: There weren’t really any, but between the relationship of Jet and Ayden, and both of them also dealing with their demons were enough excitement. The author knew it was just enough without overwhelming the reader.

Ending: I wanna cry I loved it so much!!!

Gripes/suggestions: NONE, except the cover, but that isn’t even a blip on the radar.

Final Thoughts/Rec It? YES!! This book too, left me with all the feels. I will read anything Ms. Crownover writes from now on…and I can’t wait to get to know Rome, Nash, and Asa.
