Author: Elisabeth Grace
Published: April 2014
Being the daughter of a big-city mayor, twenty-one year old Skye Summers has giant shoes to fill in her first real job out of college. With the public spotlight on her family, and her dad’s expectations running high, she jumps at the chance to work side-by-side on an important project with her sexy new boss.
Playboy entrepreneur Landon Steele has built a successful entertainment PR firm and broken more than a few hearts along the way. He’s counting on his enthusiastic new assistant to help him expand his business into LA… until he discovers she’s a pampered rich girl who’s in the public spotlight as much as his famous clients. Still, he agrees to give her a chance, and soon the two are heating up the bedroom as well as the boardroom.
But when Skye’s ex-boyfriend threatens to reveal a dangerous secret from her past, her job, relationship with Landon, and her father’s career are suddenly all on the line. Will she be forced to leave Landon? Or will she pursue her heart, regardless of the cost?

Ana will put Picture Perfect on her second shelf!!
First, let’s clear the air. This is the second book in this series but it can definitely be read as a stand alone. I read the first one and really enjoyed it but I have to say that I liked this story even more! Skye and Landon are such great characters, well developed and deep, and their romance is through the roof. If you enjoy that kind of thing (and who doesn’t), go ahead and pick up this book!
Both Skye and Landon come with baggage…family issues that make them who they are and make them timid about relationships. Skye is the daughter of a politician. She was raised to know and do what was right and to avoid anything that could jeopardize her father’s career. Although this makes her strong and self-aware, it also puts her in a box where everything she does can and will be scrutinized. She’s independent and smart and the kind of girl you’d like to have as a friend. Landon has his share of issues as well and it’s turned him away from any serious relationships. He’s a successful businessman who runs his life like he runs his career…with discipline and with focus. But, underneath it all, he’s got a soft heart and a kind soul. He’s definitely swoonworthy book boyfriend material!!
When these two meet, the fireworks go off and, try as they might, they can’t seem to reel them back in. The chemistry is off the charts and their storyline will keep you reading. And, even though parts of the story may be fairly predictable (if you read enough of these type of books, you know what I mean), it is because of these characters and their chemistry that you will not put it down. It’s also helpful that the writing is smooth and the plot has a very good flow. It’s the kind of book that you can pick up on a Sunday afternoon and lose yourself in the romance!
So…go ahead, give it a go! I don’t think you’ll regret spending a few hours with sassy Skye and sexy Landon!!
