Celeste and Ana will put Calmly, Carefully, Completely on their second shelf!!

Celeste: 4 stars I love this series, and Pete’s story was just as good as I’d hoped. He’s dangerous, but oh so sweet…my favorite type of book boyfriend.

Reagan is pretty strong, but she also knows her weaknesses, and readily admits all of it to Pete. Her honesty about her emotions was probably what went straight to Pete’s heart.

Pete is strong too, and I think he never expected that he was capable of being as sensitive as he was in this story. That was 100% due to Reagan and the fact that he fell in love with her.

Their relationship happened quickly….kind of. They had a history, but truly only got to know each other in this story. Their hesitancy to commit to a lot of things was the same thing that kept me ripping through the pages because I couldn’t get enough.

I adored Pete’s family, but in this book we got to meet Reagan’s mom and dad and I fell in love with them too.

I did struggle with the wild sex at the end. I understood that Reagan was “free”, but it seemed a little over the top still, all things considering. It certainly didn’t take away from the book, but I’m not sure that it was realistic or not.

Would I rec this? YES! It’s a great addition to the Reed Brother’s Series.

Ana: 4 stars It’s been a while since I’ve felt the need to read a series back to back but the Reed brothers grabbed a hold of me and won’t let go!  This is the third book in the series (aside from some novellas) and it’s about Pete.  He found himself in some trouble and now we get to experience his life as he becomes a free man.  And, let me tell you, just like the rest of the Reed boys, Pete had found a place in my heart and settled there quite comfortably!

To me, these are simply stories about flawed people and love.  What makes these books unique are the characters.  Each is intense and rough on the outside but most have a soft center and I can never get enough of that!  Pete’s inner softie comes out thanks to Reagan.  She may be broken but, ultimately, she’s fierce and I loved that about her.  Their chemistry was through the roof yet there were tender moments that made my heart melt.  As always, strong family connections played a role in this book and, this time, we got a glimpse into Reagan’s family which was wonderful.  I would have loved to see more interaction between Pete and Sam because, as twins, their relationship is a bit different than the other brothers and am hoping to get more of that in the future.

I absolutely recommend these books to anyone who’s looking for books with great characters, strong emotions, intelligent MC’s, and love that’s soft and sweet but also undeniably hot! I cannot tell a lie…the Reed brothers have won my heart!  Bet they’ll win yours too!
