These Royals will ruin you… From wharf fights and school brawls to crumbling lives inside glittery mansions, one guy tries to save himself. Reed Royal has it all—looks, status, money. The girls at his elite prep school line up to date him, the guys want to be him, but Reed never gave a damn about anyone but his family until Ella Harper walked into his life. What started off as burning resentment and the need to make his father’s new ward suffer turned into something else entirely—keep Ella close. Keep Ella safe. But when one foolish mistake drives her out of Reed’s arms and brings chaos to the Royal household, Reed’s entire world begins to fall apart around him. Ella doesn’t want him anymore. She says they’ll only destroy each other. She might be right.

Secrets. Betrayal. Enemies. It’s like nothing Reed has ever dealt with before, and if he’s going to win back his princess, he’ll need to prove himself Royally worthy.

Oh, the drama…the romance…the surprises…the emotion!!  Oh, my heart!!

The roller coaster that is the Royal family does not stop…actually, it doesn’t even slow down in the second book of this fantastic series.  The author managed to not only surprise me with the direction of this story but also to turn me into an eye-bugging, heart-beating, mouth-gaping mess by the end of this book!  Yes folks, there’s another cliffhanger here.  A cliffhanger at the end of the second book in a series…unheard of…but oh so good!  Now I’m even more excited about what will happen next and not completely sure what I’ll do with myself until I can get my hands on the book three.

Overall:

I continue to love these characters and even when they’re being complete jerks I can’t get enough of them.  Their broken yet big hearts make them irresistible and their undeniable love for each other (hidden at times under bravado and pretense) is seductive.  Quite simply, no matter what’s going on, I can’t help but be on the side of the Royals.  In this installment, we see Reed grow quite a lot.  He comes to some very difficult decisions and he begins to realize his place in the world and what that means not just to himself but to others as well.  Reed and Ella’s chemistry continues to sizzle and, as I have from the beginning, I ship them hard.

Of course, what made me super happy was spending time with my boy Easton.  He continues to struggle and not always handle situations in the best of ways but that’s what makes me want to hug him and make it all better…that’s what makes him alluring in my eyes.  I’m still desperately hoping that he gets his own story so that I can immerse myself in all things East!!  The rest of the Royals continue to display their damage but, as the author shares more with the readers, we begin to understand them better.  I saw a new side to Callum and the twins and I can’t wait to learn even more about them.

I don’t want to ruin any of this for you so I’m not going to tell you anything else.  But, here’s the bottom line folks…do yourself a favor and read this series!  Run, don’t walk!!  The writing is fantastic, the characters are compelling, the story is unique and gripping and, when it all comes together, its unputdownable (yes, I’m going to pretend that’s a word)!  I can’t wait to see what happens next so, Jen and Elle, if you’re looking for someone to read a draft, no matter how rough, I’d gladly be your girl!! And, truly, I’m not beyond begging…so you might want to prepare yourselves!
