The final instalment of Zeth & Sloane's story is here!

With Lacey missing and everything falling apart, Sloane and Zeth will do everything they can to get her back. If that includes facing off against Charlie Holsan, the DEA, and anyone else who gets in their way, then so be it.

Faced with heartbreak, danger, and the increasing need to protect the ones he loves, Zeth Mayfair is finally realizing what it means to have a family. With her fears coming full circle, Sloane must learn that forgiveness is the only way to move forward.

Great ending to s aeries I have fully enjoyed. This had everything: action, romance, sexy times, danger and lots of double crossing.

Sloan and Zeth’s romance made huge strides and it was glorious. Their intimacy was so touching, so real, so alive that I couldn’t help but fall in love along side of them. There was still plenty of sexy time, and once again I still didn’t enjoy the whole pain aspect of it, but as usual I kept going because I loved the relationship these two had.

The characters…oh I’ve been a fan of both of them throughout the series. Sloan is great, and I’ve loved her all along, but it was Zeth that stole my heart. He has never had love like he does with Sloane, and it took him a long time to believe it and to feel it…then to accept it and be happy about it. He was definitely skittish and I can openly admit I can’t get enough of a storyline like that, when the guy comes around because of the love of a woman.

There were twists and turns galore. The lies were weeded out. People fought. People died. Deals were made. Relationships were mended and others solidified. I loved watching it all play out after the sh*t hit the fan and it looked like there was never going to be a way for anything…and I mean ANYTHING to work out. But it did and that made me so happy. All the crazy puzzle pieces fell into place.

The ending wrapped up, but I still have some questions and I suspect there were more connections than I was even aware of. I do have the feeling that another series would answer my niggling feelings. I am a massive spoiler-phobe and have not looked into this as even synopses sometimes give things away that I wouldn’t want to know. This story ended in a way that wasn’t rushed and once the dust settled I got to relax and enjoy the romance between Sloane and Zeth.

UPDATE. In the last 5 minutes I decided since this series was over I *could* peek at other related titles….I did check and the series Dead Man’s Ink. Oh wait, AND Chaos and Ruin would definitely tie in. Oh boy!!

Rec it? Yes! If you love a romantic suspense that moves along at a great pace with lots of action and a deep love connection this is a great add for your TBR.

Happy reading!
