Sparks fly between a misunderstood New York socialite and a cynical divorce lawyer in this lively standalone rom-com from the USA Today bestselling author of Blurred Lines and Love Story. Pampered heiress Georgianna Watkins has a party-girl image to maintain, but all the shopping and clubbing is starting to feel a little bit hollow—and a whole lot lonely. Though Georgie would never admit it, the highlights of her week are the mornings when she comes home at the same time as her uptight, workaholic neighbor is leaving to hit the gym and put in a long day at the office. Teasing him is the most fun Georgie’s had in years—and the fuel for all her naughtiest daydreams.

Celebrity divorce attorney Andrew Mulroney doesn’t have much time for women, especially spoiled tabloid princesses who spend more time on Page Six than at an actual job. Although Georgie’s drop-dead gorgeous, she’s also everything Andrew resents: the type of girl who inherited her penthouse instead of earning it. But after Andrew caps one of their predawn sparring sessions with a surprise kiss—a kiss that’s caught on camera—all of Manhattan is gossiping about whether they’re a real couple. And nobody’s more surprised than Andrew to find that the answer just might be yes.

This “opposites attract” story is fun, sweet, and sexy. It’s the epitome of a well-rounded rom com. Georgie and Andrew could not be any more different. She’s a sassy, sparkly, rich socialite who parties all night and he’s a quiet, serious divorce attorney whose life is rigid and structured. She dislikes him…he finds her ridiculous. So, you know what that means…reluctant but steamy sexual attraction. These two are absolutely adorable in their lusty confusion and their hesitant surrender to the inevitable.

These two are smart and quick-witted. Their banter is fun and hearing the story from both points of view gives the reader the best of both worlds. Although I’m not a socialite myself (and I may have rolled my eyes a couple of times at her antics), I still enjoyed Georgie very much and could relate to her on some level. I loved the fact that she lived her life unapologetically. Yes, she’s a rich, cute, party girl…take her or leave her. She’s not going to change for anyone but herself. As a matter of fact, her “I’ve got to be me” attitude made me like her more and more as the story progressed. Andrew was smart, sexy, and yet socially awkward in the beginning. But, seriously…it’s such an endearing combination. He won me over from the very first “ridiculous”! He’s got a good heart and Georgie shows him it’s ok to rely on it instead of just his big brain sometimes. He’s definitely swoonworthy and will make your heart beat just a little bit faster. Their chemistry was wonderful and their push and pull was endearing.

The bottom line here is that this is the book for you if you’re looking for a sweet romance with minimal angst. The story will leave you with a smile on your face and a happy heart. Georgie and Andrew will have you believing that love can conquer all and that when it’s right, it’s right…no matter the differences, the heart will win out. And, if you love love like I do, this is a very good thing. Enjoy!!
