A SINGLE BASKETBALL GAME CHANGES EVERYTHING...

When they were only teenagers, Axel and Caxton were caught making out in the woods at church camp. And afterward, Cax had disappeared from all the youth group activities.

Six years later, Axel is astonished to spot his first love’s face in the crowd of a college basketball game he’s watching on TV—at a school which has just offered him a job. It’s a thousand miles away, in a tiny rural town. But suddenly, he can’t wait to get there.

Cax can’t believe his eyes when Axel appears in the same Massachusetts town where he now lives. And he’s still just as drawn to Axel as ever. But he can’t let himself go there again, because loving Axel will mean giving up everything else he holds dear.

Both men have so much to lose. But as far as their love is concerned, it's Hello Forever.

Hello Forever is a stand-alone novel with no cliffhangers. Readers of Goodbye Paradise will get to check in on Caleb and Josh and their clan.

What an emotional roller coaster!  Once again, Ms. Bowen gave me a story that brought me to tears, filled my heart with hope, and strengthened my belief in soulmates!  This second-chance M/M romance had everything I could want…a forbidden love, an underlying innocence, and the characters’ determination to find happiness.  This is one of those stories that will stay with me for a very long time.  While, in reality, it’s a simple story that (sadly) probably happens in the world all too often, the author has woven it with so much care and emotion that it becomes anything but ordinary.

I wanted to reach out and hug Cax and Axel.  Their road to happiness was filled with painful moments, beginning when they were just children.  Meeting again as adults, they realize that the love they felt for each other was still strong and that those stolen moments they shared still meant so much to them.  One is ready to take a leap into their love story…the other has so many obstacles to face that it seems almost impossible.  Cax’s family struggles and his devotion to his brothers means that taking what he wants is not easy…maybe even impossible.  Although difficult for him, Axel’s understanding of the situation made my heart happy.  These two were meant for each other…they just need the world to get on their side.

This story is not simply a romance but a vehicle that illustrates the struggles that must sometimes be endured in order to find happiness.  These two characters, through their pain, show us all how important it is to take a chance, to be brave, and to fight for what you want.  This was an emotional story filled with struggles and an undercurrent of hope.  Trust me, your heart will thank you for reading this book!
